Date: 03/12/2013
My friend Emma recommended Higher Limits Trek & Expedition (and also recommended Gopal!)
I made a trip to Chitwan and stayed there for 4days and 3nights. The hotel was directly located at the Rapti River and had nice rooms, good food and very service mended staff member. I went on a canon trip an elephant ride and a jeep safari. And saw a rhino (+3moth old baby!) deers, jungle chickens.peackoks and lots of birds.
A beautiful safari in a beautiful country! A real holiday!

Nepal Travel Information | Information About Nepal | How to get Nepal? | Vacation in Nepal

Planning a trip to Nepal is not as easy as planning a vacation in Hawaii or Europe. Nepal is one of the most remote destinations on Earth if you are starting your trip from North America, and it takes almost 2 days just to get there. A trip to this Himalayan kingdom requires a great deal of advance planning. You should set aside plenty of time to make all the essential arrangements to ensure your journey is as enjoyable as possible.
When should I go? How do I get there? What do I need to pack? Where should I stay? What kind of restaurants are there? What should I see? These are some of the questions that this section will answer.
The single-most-important thing to know about flying to Nepal is that with relatively few flights into the country, seats book up months in advance during the peak trekking seasons. Try to make reservations at least 6 months in advance, especially if you want to fly on Thai Airways or Singapore Airlines. By July or August, you'll find that nearly every flight into the country during this period is wait-listed. Royal Nepal Airlines, which is infamously unreliable, is usually the last airline to fill up.
There are no direct flights from the United States and from Europe to Nepal, so unless you fly Thai Airways, Singapore Airlines, or Qatar Airlines you're going to have to change airlines somewhere en route, usually in London or Delhi if you are eastbound or in Bangkok or Singapore if you are westbound. You'll also have to spend a night somewhere en route-Bangkok, Singapore and Delhi are the usual overnight stops.
If you are traveling through Delhi, it's a good idea to have an Indian visa, even if you aren't planning to leave the airport.

Security.
Nepal is generally very safe with one of the lowest crime rates of all countries. Travel with children in Nepal, yet with a bit of planning it is remarkably hassle free

Shopping.
Despite Nepal's lack of raw materials, shopping here is quite advanced. Curio arts Garment, Thankas and Carpets are head the export list. Nepal's carpet industries are world renowned.

Currency.
The unit of the Nepalese Currency is the Rupee. Nepali Rupee notes come in Rs. 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 500, 1,000 denominations.

Banks.
Banks are open between 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P M. from Sunday to Friday. They are closed on Saturdays and other holidays.

Credit Cards.
Major credit cards are widely accepted in Kathmandu and Pokhara hotels, restaurants, Travel/Trekking office and shops.

Currency Exchange.
There are plenty of Currency Exchange Counters in Kathmandu and Pokhara

ATM’s.
Visitors can withdraw money through Visa /Master Card from the different ATM machines at several locations in Kathmandu and Pohkara.

Annapurna Circuit Trekking Review,Client Feedback of Higher Limits Trek,Trekking Company Review,Feedback

03/12/2013
We had an amazing time trekking from Beshisahar to Pokhara. The Annapurna Circuit is gorgeous and Amrit was by far the best guide we meet along the way.
I would reccommend to an you wanting a challenge to take this trek. Amrit knew a lot of information about the trek as well as great places to stay and to eat. He also gave us great advice about taking a jeep from Ghasa to Tatopani.which was a whole new/different experience.
I will be back!
Thank you very much to Higher Limits Trek family.

Higher Limits Trek, Nepal Trekking Company Review

To Whom It May Concern,
Gopal asked me to be a reference for his trekking company, Higher Limits Trekking. http://www.nepalholiday.travel/
I've had the pleasure of knowing Gopal for almost six years now.  I originally met him in Kathmandu while looking for a guide.  He did not have his own company then.  I was not sure who to trust and which tour company was safe and reliable.  I had wanted to do a custom trip starting in Jiri and ending at Everest Base Camp.  The trip must have been 20+ days going through Maoist rebel territory.  Gopal had never done such a route but was up for the challenge.  Being an American, I was definitely in danger by going through such remote areas at the time.  Gopal saved me as a number of times, helping me get through rebel road blocks and out of tight situations.  He worked with me on price, accommodations, food, etc.  I had the experience of a lifetime and have since kept in contact with him.
I am so pleased he has his own company now http://www.higherlimitstrek.com/ and am confident he delivers on his promises.  He is a genuine, honest, kind, hardworking guide and he knows how to enjoy the mountains of Nepal.  I'm also happy to report that his English has improved immensely since I first met him.  Knowing Gopal, I would expect that any of his colleagues would be just as professional and reliable.  I'd be more than happy to answer any of your questions and concerns.  I know choosing a guide can sometimes be unnerving.  I teach rock climbing and guide moderate climbers up long routes and I know that trust is key.  I hope you enjoy your time in Nepal, it is an amazing place and I'm sure you will have the experience of a lifetime.

If it makes you feel better, feel free to look me up on facebook.

"Wonderful Mustang Trekking with Higher Limits"

14-11-2010
Hi
My name is Dario. I'm from Como, Italy. If you are going to trek in Nepal.
I take some minutes to recount you my experience.
With 4 friends I trekked Mustang last November. Our agency was Higher Limits Trek and it was a great choice.
Gopi is a very reliable and friendly person. He was very good at organizing the trek and fulfilled patiently all our requests.
We had no problem in anticipating him money for the trekking permit (550 $ per person!).
He made also our stay in Kathmandu very comfortable.
We asked him a reliable guide and so he was.
Our guide was always friendly and professional. He successfully solved some unexpected problems (rent a horse when a friend was sick, found soon a jeep when our return flight to Pokhara was suddenly cancelled due to foggy weather).
If I ever return to trek in Nepal I will choose Gopi and his company Higher Limits Trek again.
If you have questions, feel free to ask.
From now I wish you all a great Himalayan experience, like the one I had.

Regards
Dario

Higher Limits Trek, Best Trekking Company

Annapurna Circuit Trekking +Annapurna Base Camp

Hello,

My name is Michael Addison (47yrs old, from USA) and If you are considering taking a trekking adventure with Higher Limits Trek, but would first like some references from those who have trekked with them.

I can tell that my experience with Higher Limits Trek & Expedition  was very good. I actually trekked the Annapurna Circuit with one of their guides, Bhakta (good guy) last October. My trek was 18 days and what I liked about Higher Limits (vs. other companies I interviewed) was that 1) they were professional 2) informative, yet fun and 3) flexible. Regarding the flexiblity, Higher Limits was the only company I interviewed that was willing to go on my particular schedule during the trek. Specifically, other companies would not deviate from their itinerary, but Gopal guaranteed that my guide would go at my pace. Most days I went further than most people (am lucky to be in very good shape), and loved a quick pace. On one particular day, I needed to go slowly and my guide (Bhakta) said whatever pace I wanted would be fine. So Gopal was right, and I was very pleased with my experience.
I will not hesitate to go to Gopal again when I return to Nepal for another trek next year. I would not have taken the time to write this if I did not truly enjoy my experience. You will enjoy yours with Gopal's team, I am sure.

I've attached a picture of me and another guy on a mountain.....I'm on the right.

Have a great time, and if you have any questions, feel free to write me.
