Ganesh Himal Trekking | Less Tourist Area Trekking

Ganesh Himal Trekking
Ganesh Himal trekking area lies on the central eastern region of Nepal. This region offers spectaculars views, unhurt natural grandeur, wild and friendly people.
The Ganesh Himal is named after the elephant.-headed God of good fortune. The Ganesh Himal can be seen clearly from Kathmandu valley. The Ganesh Himal range peak ( Ganesh 1. Ganesh II, Ganesh III, and Ganesh IV) stand out like crystal. That is the great Himalayan change forming the skyline. This great Himalayan massif is enclosed between the valley of the Budhi Gandaki in the west and Bhotekoshi in the east, which becomes Trishuli Khola in the lower section.
There are three main groups of peaks between Kathmandu and Pokhara such as Ganesh Himal, Langtang and Manaslu including Annapurna range. This trek is perfect for those wanting to get away from the more popular regions of Annapurna and Everest. It is popular for pure Tamang culture, stunning views of mountains and colorful rhododendron forest. It also begins conveniently close to Kathmandu.
When you are making Ganesh Himal Trekking you can observe the different ways of life culture and able to contact with rural people in the small villages. On the way to Trekking period you will see the way of living those rural people in Nepal. Landmark and a kind of wooden machine for hustling rice. Millet and corn the major glamour of the village. You will cross through the 4400m high sing-la pass offers an excellent view of the massif Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal, Mt. Manaslu and Annapurna Himalayan ranges. No more tourists are the peculiarity of this region. It might be possible you can’t see any foreigners even any modern Nepalese other than local people. You will see 65 percent people are Tamang (semi Mongolian) and rests of them are others. Ganesh Himal trekking is knows as a Tamang cultural tour.

Our Review | Review of Everest Base Camp Trek | Recent Information about EBC

03/12/2013,
Currently we have arrange Everest Base Camp Trekking for 14days so we were very much successful to arrange the things to complete trekking operation our guide were in very good position so please take look what our client said about the trip with us…….
I really wanted to do some trekking while I was in Nepal, but I was alone. It is very difficult to know if you can trust the people when you want to do the trekking. But I joined this nice small company Higher Limits Trek with Gopal. I really liked him from the beginning and I booked the Everest Base Camp Trekking.
My guide was Puru, a very experienced nice guide who I recommend to everybody. He spoke good English and was nice company. Because it was monsoon season I was prepared for bad weather, I really wanted to see the Mount Everest, but because of the weather that may have been a problem but at the day of the Kalapather, the sky was blue and I had the nicest views I have ever seen. It was really beautiful!!
It was the best experience from my while in Nepal!
You should not doubt about it and just do it!

Langtang Region Trekking | Langtang Trekking Routes | Lanhtang Hiking | Gosaikunda Hike | Langtang Valley Trekking

03/12/2013
Langtang Region Trekking
The Langtang area is found toward the north of Kathmandu Valley. The landscape here is very nice, and the trek more adventurous as the area is visited by lesser hikers. To the west of Langtang is Ganesh Himal with a range of 6000 to 7000 meters. The Gosainkunda and Helambu region lies to its south; these can be combined with Langtang to make adventure programs from 7 days to 21 days. The area was created as Nepal's first Himalayan National Park in 1971; it is inhabited by Tamang and Sherpa people whose religious practices, language and dress are more similar to those of Tibet than to the traditions of their neighbors in the middle hills. The forests in the region have temperate and sub-alpine vegetation. Wildlife includes migratory birds, deer, monkey, Tahr and Pika. The best time for trekking through Langtang area is spring and autumn. Most of the trekking routes in Helambu and Langtang are well served with teahouses making independent trekking comfortable for hikers & backpackers. But there are no such facilities in the Ganesh Himal area or Ganja La area. A journey to the Langtang valley offers chances to explore the Tamang villages, climb small peaks and to visit glaciers at a more comfortable altitude than tougher trekking regions
Getting in to Helambu is particularly easy and quick. Sundarijal, which is one of the most convenient starting points, is only an hour’s drive from Kathmandu. Other possible road routes are at Budhanilkantha, Kakani and four hour drive away at melamchi Pul. For Langtang and Ganesh Himal choice is a limited drive to Dhunche in Rasuwa district. The road then continues to Syabrubesi from wherer Ganesh Himal and Langtang treks can start. This is a very interesting area to trek in.

Langtang Kynjin Gompa Trekking | Langtang Valley Trekking | Kyanjin Ri | Langtang Village

03/12/2013
Recently we arranged trekking trip to Langtang Kyanjin Gompa for American guy about 8days after his experience with us what he had to say about us please take look.

Taken by: Higher Limit from Kynjin Gompa

I checked with many trekking companies before setting on Higher Limits. From the beginning I felt comfortable with Gopi and the staff. We talked for almost two hours about trekking. He took a lot of time explaining rates and itineraries.  He also provided the best price of the ten or twelve companies I checked with. I have to say I have no complaints with anything. The guide, Janu, was very knowledgeable about the culture, people, trails, mountains and things not related to trekking and Nepal. The food was good, the weather cooperated, the accommodation was comfortable and clean, and the views were better than expected. I highly recommend Higher Limits and Janu as a guide while I could have trekked independently for cheaper I can’t imagine all the knowledge and information I would have missed without a guide. I felt safe, comfortable and very happy the entire trip. I look forward to my next trek with Janu and Higher Limits Trek & Expedition Pvt Ltd.

Trekking in Nepal | Nepal Trekking Information

Trekking in Nepal
Trekking frequently refers to multi-day hiking trips through rural, often rugged territory. Many people who are trekkers engage in longer trips through entire regions of the world, using trekking as a way of getting from place to place. It can be included with a number of other outdoor sports, such as rock climbing backpacking.
Trekking is different from other sorts of travel for a few different reasons. It tends to be less-structured than other sort of travel, as weather conditions and topography help influence travel plans more than plane flights or hotel availability. As travelers move on foot through often-rural areas, trekking gives travelers an up-close view of unbelievable scenery. Many trekkers travel through isolated areas, giving them an experience much different than those who travel in organized groups to more-popular destinations. It often allows them to interact with nature, doing anything from climbing a rock wall to navigating across a mountain or entire mountain range for more details please follow the link http://www.nepalholiday.travel/

Hiking in Nepal | Nepal Hiking Information | Hike in Nepal | Hiking

Hiking in Nepal
Day hiking is an outdoor activity where individuals or groups walk on trails during the day without setting up camp for overnight stays. Hikers are able to access more trails and parks by walking during the day rather than planning multi-day trips in one park or area. This approach to hiking is special by casual hikers as well as outdoor enthusiasts who might be concerned about trail safety. An important issue in day hiking is the excessive heat and glare from the sun. Day hikers can pack lightly for their excursions by eliminating sleeping bags, tents, and flashlights.
Local, regional, and national parks sometimes offer limited access to hiking trails. These limits include no nighttime or weekend hours where hikers might be endangered on the trail. A park might also schedule trail maintenance and repair during off-season weekend hours. Day hiking allows an individual to walk miles through a park generally without limitations. Outdoor lovers can travel to several parks within a region to conduct day hikes instead of focusing on a single park. For more details http://www.higherlimitstrek.com .

Nepal Travel Information | Information About Nepal | How to get Nepal? | Vacation in Nepal

Planning a trip to Nepal is not as easy as planning a vacation in Hawaii or Europe. Nepal is one of the most remote destinations on Earth if you are starting your trip from North America, and it takes almost 2 days just to get there. A trip to this Himalayan kingdom requires a great deal of advance planning. You should set aside plenty of time to make all the essential arrangements to ensure your journey is as enjoyable as possible.
When should I go? How do I get there? What do I need to pack? Where should I stay? What kind of restaurants are there? What should I see? These are some of the questions that this section will answer.
The single-most-important thing to know about flying to Nepal is that with relatively few flights into the country, seats book up months in advance during the peak trekking seasons. Try to make reservations at least 6 months in advance, especially if you want to fly on Thai Airways or Singapore Airlines. By July or August, you'll find that nearly every flight into the country during this period is wait-listed. Royal Nepal Airlines, which is infamously unreliable, is usually the last airline to fill up.
There are no direct flights from the United States and from Europe to Nepal, so unless you fly Thai Airways, Singapore Airlines, or Qatar Airlines you're going to have to change airlines somewhere en route, usually in London or Delhi if you are eastbound or in Bangkok or Singapore if you are westbound. You'll also have to spend a night somewhere en route-Bangkok, Singapore and Delhi are the usual overnight stops.
If you are traveling through Delhi, it's a good idea to have an Indian visa, even if you aren't planning to leave the airport.

Security.
Nepal is generally very safe with one of the lowest crime rates of all countries. Travel with children in Nepal, yet with a bit of planning it is remarkably hassle free

Shopping.
Despite Nepal's lack of raw materials, shopping here is quite advanced. Curio arts Garment, Thankas and Carpets are head the export list. Nepal's carpet industries are world renowned.

Currency.
The unit of the Nepalese Currency is the Rupee. Nepali Rupee notes come in Rs. 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 500, 1,000 denominations.

Banks.
Banks are open between 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P M. from Sunday to Friday. They are closed on Saturdays and other holidays.

Credit Cards.
Major credit cards are widely accepted in Kathmandu and Pokhara hotels, restaurants, Travel/Trekking office and shops.

Currency Exchange.
There are plenty of Currency Exchange Counters in Kathmandu and Pokhara

ATM’s.
Visitors can withdraw money through Visa /Master Card from the different ATM machines at several locations in Kathmandu and Pohkara.

Higher Limits Trek, Nepal Trekking Company Review

To Whom It May Concern,
Gopal asked me to be a reference for his trekking company, Higher Limits Trekking. http://www.nepalholiday.travel/
I've had the pleasure of knowing Gopal for almost six years now.  I originally met him in Kathmandu while looking for a guide.  He did not have his own company then.  I was not sure who to trust and which tour company was safe and reliable.  I had wanted to do a custom trip starting in Jiri and ending at Everest Base Camp.  The trip must have been 20+ days going through Maoist rebel territory.  Gopal had never done such a route but was up for the challenge.  Being an American, I was definitely in danger by going through such remote areas at the time.  Gopal saved me as a number of times, helping me get through rebel road blocks and out of tight situations.  He worked with me on price, accommodations, food, etc.  I had the experience of a lifetime and have since kept in contact with him.
I am so pleased he has his own company now http://www.higherlimitstrek.com/ and am confident he delivers on his promises.  He is a genuine, honest, kind, hardworking guide and he knows how to enjoy the mountains of Nepal.  I'm also happy to report that his English has improved immensely since I first met him.  Knowing Gopal, I would expect that any of his colleagues would be just as professional and reliable.  I'd be more than happy to answer any of your questions and concerns.  I know choosing a guide can sometimes be unnerving.  I teach rock climbing and guide moderate climbers up long routes and I know that trust is key.  I hope you enjoy your time in Nepal, it is an amazing place and I'm sure you will have the experience of a lifetime.

If it makes you feel better, feel free to look me up on facebook.
Happy Travels,
